The fact that it's not leaving a log at all is extremely weird, but it also leaves me with no useful information to go on. We have 1.2 billion users and are present on 98% of both Mac and PCs, and I'm not seeing the corresponding flood of complaints that would indicate that this is not a personal problem. The majority of our company runs Mac, and I'm not hearing this from either our very vocal internal users or from a flood of external users. For what it's worth, my daily driver is running Yosemite and I don't have this problem, nor do we see it in our test labs.
